Searching Scanned HP Manuals Message #1 Posted by Egan Ford on 8 July 2006, 11:56 p.m. I am unsure if this is common knowledge. In any case I though I'd pass it along. Adobe Acrobat Professional has an OCR function that will create a searchable PDF from a scanned PDF leaving the scanned PDF intact. When searching the new document words are highlighted as if it were a standard text PDF. So far I have indexed the 15C, 42S, and 48G manuals for my convenience.
