HP 7470a manual in pdf Message #1 Posted by Nick Pashley on 22 June 2006, 12:45 p.m. Can anyone point me in the direction of a resource where I can download a manual for a HP 7470a? Many thanks Nick

I am not sure if we may post links of that, but there is another HPMUSEUM in the NET, and it also contains material about the 7470a. Hope someone understands my hints... However, the 7475 manual is available on the hpmuseum.net here along with some 7470 brochures.. The 7475 is a 6 pen plotter, the 7470 being a 2 pen device. Ordal on 23 June 2006, 10:25 p.m., in response to message #5 by Etienne Victoria Besides the 6-pens, the HP7475 handled both "A" and "B" paper sizes (8.5x11 inches and 11x17 inches) or the nearest European equivalents. The smaller 7470 handled only 8.5x11 inch paper (or the European equivalent). I don't recall any differences in the HPGL programming commands for these two models. There was a later replacement for the 7470 that had more pens---I think it was the 7440 with 8 pens, but don't quote on that! (-: --Mark
