Dead 15C needs help Message #1 Posted by PeterP on 10 Apr 2006, 9:02 p.m. Hi, I recently got a broken 15c and I'm wondering if this marvellous gem can be revived with the trusted help of this forum. Basically, once batteries are installed, the thing does not turn on. No beep, so sound, no sign, no nothing. It simply is dead. Press yx and ON simultaneously, then release. 2. Remove and re-insert batteries. 3. Leave the batteries in the compartment and briefly short-circuit the battery terminals together. -- KS
