Lithium Batteries Message #1 Posted by John Kercheval on 28 Mar 2006, 8:08 a.m. Hello: I've begun using litium AAA batteries in my 48GX and HP 71B with excellent results. Does anyone else have experience with this? I ESTIMATE 3X the battery life versus alkaline batteries. Is this correct? John Kercheval Washington, DC

For high-power devices, the benefit is smaller (cost per hour of usage), as the Alkaline batteries are much cheaper - the Lithium cells do have a higher capacity though and will last longer.
