Sparcom card
Message #1 Posted by Charles Oxford on 31 Oct 2006, 2:56 p.m.

I have a mechanical engineering card and was wondering if a .pdf manual is available. I tried google with no luck and it's not on my museum dvd.

Thanks - Charlie O.

If I'm not mistaken, this package was later ported to the TI-89, and is still available for free download by TI-89 users. A detailed manual for the TI-89 version is available at:

http://education.ti.com/guidebooks/apps/89me_pro/dvmepro.pdf

Obviously the TI-89 version will differ from the HP-48 version, but there should be similarities as well

One place that I have bought HP 48SX/GX Sparcom/DaVinci cards (with manuals) is www.calcpro.com I have had good dealings with its manager, Paul Nelson, for many years. I talked to him recently. I do not believe that he has any more cards to burn (they were a kind of proprietary card from Epson), but he still has some of the manuals. Good Luck!
