HP 48GX - Low batterie alarm Message #1 Posted by Henk on 9 Jan 2006, 7:30 a.m. For years I own a 48GX. It always worked fine until this morning.... I got a LowBat(s) alarm even after preplacing the batteries. (Yes I checked, these were new and full). I consulted HP Netherlands but it seems they can open the calculator but will not be able to close it again.... (They said it, not me..) Does anybody know a remedie? Regards, Henk

I would check for corrosion and make sure the contacts are pushed hard enough against the poles of the battery by GENTLY (!) pushing or bending them a little. good luck
