Yeah, I saw that one.

It's a real auction, so he'll only get that if a very well heeled babe in the woods comes along.

And how about this set of 42S manuals:

HP 42S manuals

He does have one bid at $209. WOW!!

Maybe I should just sell all my manuals - at these prices I could buy a lot of calculators. :)

I paid 30 bucks for the same manual two weeks ago, and I thought I was paying premium!

I guess what it takes to be successful selling on eBay is certain parts of ones's anatomy transmuting into an alloy of copper and tin.

Yes, and maybe Dave should up the price for the Museum CD stuffed with PDF versions. (Just kidding.)

I'd say the high bidder was a mouse-click happy person (I have see dozens of them on Amazon) who did not bother to read the text. In this case, the bidder saw what he wanted to see (an auction selling the calculator AND the manuals). Reality bites!

Actually, I see that auction as still having no bids.

Perhaps there was a retraction? If so, it's not shown.

Bill quoted a different auction...

Bill quoted a different auction. But they're both overpriced.
