I had the same problem, the middle gear lost it's teeth. It is the one with 30 teeth.

I found one at (made from brass):

Part-No. 753030, 2,65 Euro. Ask for shipping. The diameter of bore is 2mm, you must fit it to the axis.

Now my HP-97 prints very well.

I need the very same gear for my '97, but I don't speak German. It is possible to send one gear here to Brazil? Can you ask them for the costs?
