EPSON FX-80 drivers should do,
since the 82905B is a modified FX-80 or FX-85.

Raymond

BTW: You should use a more speaking subject line next time;-)

Hi Diego,

my 82905B had *both* (parallel & HP-IB) interfaces built-in;-)

The IB interface is sitting on an own detachable pcb,
and the printer case has an additional rightangular
hole on the back for the HP-IB connector.

I could use my printer with my HP9000
workstation using the HP-IB connection,
and as a normal parallel printer on a PC.

Best Regards

Raymond

Hi Raymond,

Are you saying that the printer was using the HP PCL codes with HPIB interface, and Epson escape codes with // conector ?

Hi Patrice,

AFAIR I used the 82905B only as text printer with the HP9000,
I don't know which control codes were used there, as it simply worked;-)

Regards

Raymond
