HP cases

I have a few HP cases for the HP 30 series calculators that I use to store my 42s. The problem is every once in a while I notice a whitesh [fungus] on them. I also have the problem with the HP case for my 82240B printer. Anything I can use to clean the cases so this won't occur. I keep my calculators in a dry place.
