HP35 serial number

Hello,

hope someone can help me with this ;)

I have a HP 45 which supposed to have been a tinkering device from HPs calc division. It has a serial# of 1230A82394 - I suspect, the frame/number might be from a HP 35, can anybody deny or confirm this? (I only know 1143 and 1302...)

According to Dave's list of serial numbers here, the earliest HP-45 serial number begins with 1301. If I recall correctly, there was a batch of HP-35s that began with 1230.
