BASIC HP9816
Message #1 Posted by Alberto on 19 Aug 2004, 3:51 a.m.

Does anyone know how to port BASIC HP9816 programs to PC? At least I need to know how to save listings in ASCII format (not tokenized) in LIF diskettes.

Thanks,

Alberto

OK, this is fine with HP9000 workstations equipped with HPBASIC, but my 9816 seems to have a Pro-BASIC interpreter that differs from the "Rocky Mountain" in many aspects. In particular it does not support the FORMAT directive, and a lot of commands are not recognized.

The boot message of the interpreter is:

BTS Rev. E2550 Ready.

Does it look familiar to anyone?
