USB connector???for HP 95lx connectivity cable???
Message #1 Posted by Bruno Geuth on 15 June 2004, 7:24 p.m.

Hi,

I just re-installed F1001A PC-connectivity pack for my HP 95LX.

Now I have the serial cable and the software installed BUT...my laptop has NO serial port (like most laptops nowadays) Question: Is anybody familiar with a solution, e.g. will a USB connector on the HP serial cable work? Where can I buy/order it?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Back when the iMac came out as the first home computer with no serial ports and support for USB peripherals only, I bought a serial adapter from Keyspan to use with my old printer. I used it until I bought a USB printer. They still seem to update their drivers, but use with PC computers is for you to investigate.

I just checked their website, http://www.keyspan.com/ and they still have such products.

Hello sir, I am Selva. Hope u r fine. Recently I bought a photosmart Digi Cam, Product of HP Firm, Which is China made product. The USB Port used to interface with Computer is not adopted to the USB port that I am using in my computer. I am in India. Whether there is any USB converter. Can I made it in future? I am awaiting for your suggestions.
