HP-38G Questions
Message #1 Posted by Michel Beaulieu on 14 June 2004, 7:53 p.m.

1- Can someone tell me what is an Applets? It is like an application on TI graphing calculators or more like a library on the HP-48S? or just a normal user programs that have a kind of programming language that is not Basic?

2- Where can i find the user manual for that calculator in PDF format?

An Applet is most like a library on the HP-48S.

I don't know of a location for the user manual online, but HP has the manual for the 39G+ online (at http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00045564.pdf) and Colin Croft has written a book called "Mastering the HP 39g+" (currently at http://members.iinet.net.au/~ccroft/zipfiles/Mastering%20the%20hp%2039g%2B.pdf). A previous version of that book for the 38G is still available for sale, see http://hphomeview.com/ for details and much more information on the HP-38G.
