HP-IL converters
Message #1 Posted by john on 1 Feb 2004, 3:09 a.m.

I have a box of 10 HP-IL converters marked 82166A. Can anyone tell me on which HP machine these were used?

Like all HP-IL peripherals, they would generally work with any HP-IL controller. These include the HP-41C/CV/CX and HP-71B when used with the appropriate HP-IL interface module, the HP-75C/D, the HP-110, and various others.

Dear John,

The HP82166A IL-Converter is the needed key part for hardware interfacing, measurement and data-logger applications.

The following books describe interface applications using IL-Converter and handheld computer :

Gary Friedman : Control the world with HP-IL

Christoph Klug : I/O-Board manual

Christoph Klug : IL2000 manual

If you do not need the converters send thme to me :-)))

Best regards from Germany - Christoph Klug
