New release of CASMSIM
Message #1 Posted by Eric Smith on 20 Jan 2004, 4:05 a.m.

After a very long hiatus, I've finally resumed work on CASMSIM, an HP Classic calculator microassembler and microcode-level simulator. It now simulates the HP-35, HP-45, HP-55, and HP-80. The necessary microcode is included.

The new release uses the GTK+ toolkit and Glib, so it should be portable to Windows, but I have only run it on Linux.

It uses KML files similar but not identical to those used by Emu48.

CASMSIM is free software (GPL license). Although users are under no obligation to do so, I'd certainly appreciate it if they would let me know whether it works for them and how they like it.
