Keyboard overla for Voyagers
Message #1 Posted by Miki Mihajlovic on 17 Dec 2003, 7:20 p.m.

There is an item on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3065899755&category=11713 that puzzles me. It is the keyboard overlay set for Voyager calculators made by Chary Software. As far as I know Voyagers don't have a configurable keyboard like, say 41C, so what are these overlays used for?

The A,B,C,D and E keys are user definable.

[f] USER (on the RCL key) sets user mode.

There where some 11C's recently sold on eBay that had been developed for horse racing handicapping. They used a custom black overlay pasted over the standard 11C faceplate. The program functions where assigned to those keys for easy access.
