ACO lives again??
Message #1 Posted by Tom (UK) on 14 Aug 2003, 7:43 a.m.

ACO did the old(!) HP49G.

Have HP re-employed some of the top HP49 people? (e.g. YP)

If so where is this being done? HP or outside design house or freelance?

Hi,

I'm not sure, but maybe Cyrille de Brebisson could give an answer. At least he still works for 'hp'.

Seems like the company Hydrix (www.hydrix.com) with the old ACO team leader, Jean-Yves Avenard (now the leader of Hydrix) and at least Gerald Squelart, is hired by HP to do the "Hydrix" part of the new HP calculators.

You may call it "ACO IV - Resurrection" if you wish.
