Looks like nobody is willing to spend $25 on it!

How far back does the "HP invent" slogan go? At what point did they find the need to remind themselves of what they did? What's the joke I'm trying to remember about the dumb guy who labels things and leaves himself notes so he won't get the simplest things wrong? (might be bawdy!)

Am I still the only RPN fan who feels personally insulted by the new HP advertising campaign that ends with a large equals sign?
