Extended Numerical Keyboard with Structured Data Entry

Here is a new method of number input to a calculator which has been patented. The link gives a working version of a java calc with this method of entry. I think it is well suited to financial calculators.
I would be interested to see opinions on the usefulness of this, particularly if combined with RPN.
