Message #1 Posted by Trent Moseley on 29 Apr 2003, 2:59 p.m.

Just curious. I use the 82240B Printer with my 42S. Can other calculators work with it as well?

At least all 28 and 48 series. And anything that works with a 82240A also works with the 82240B.

The HP-27S can print on it, too. Also several business calculators, i.e. the HP-19BII and HP-18C

Two more Pioneers: The 17B/17Bii and 27S. And of course the 41 with 82242 I/R module.

But not wth HP 40.

Not the 49G either. You need something that transmits IR.

And with the correct encoding too.

If anyone knows how to modify the printer so that it takes wired input, that would be very useful.

James

The 28S also works with the 82240B, and I use a 17BII and 42S with it.
