HP-41CV, Decimal point
Message #1 Posted by John Rutherford on 20 Mar 2003, 12:45 p.m.

My young son played with my calculator and somehow changed the decimal point to display as a comma. Does anyone know how to change it back?

Thanks, John

Hi;

have a lok at the keyboard and you'll see a SF over the [7] key. Press the shift(golden) key, the [7] key and you seee in the display:

[SF_ _        ]
Then you press [2] [8]. The decima point is probably back again.

Best regards.

Hi, Jeff;

I thought about removing my post, but I believe I can let it as is; O.K. ?

Best regards.

Hey, let him keep playing with it:

1) He might change back to decimal all by himself

2) We'll get another RPN convert! (Teach 'em early!)
