battery life on 10bii

Third post today, guess I full of questions! I have a 10bii that I've bought 11 months ago, It has sat in my drawer for all but about 30 minutes of use and I am getting a low battery sign. Is this normal? I can see that they switched from the old 357 batteries to 2 cr2032 batteries, but that can't be it. Is there a known drainage problem with some 10biis or did I maybe just get bad batteries?
