ok; so what i mentioned is the SECOND biggest problem about ebay.
the following is from a current ebay auction: "This HP 33c, serial No. 2138s30827 is in awesome shape except 2 big flaws. One the battery - power comection area has corrosion as pictured, and two it will not power up. OH there is a hair line crack next to the power hook-up I think visable in the close up." i am glad that he has the presence of mind to auction off this irreplaceable bunch of parts but this dork's and my definition of "awesome shape" do differ somewhat. at least he is honest.
