Does anyone have any accurate information on the 2x speed routine for 42s? None of my three calcs will retain the double speed setting. Two calcs are 1993 and 1994 models which are not supposed to retain 2x mode but another calc is 1988 model and it should behave differently. Anyone know if possible to easily get into 2x mode and stay there?

The link above has the program. A 1988 HP-42S should run it, but I don't know for sure.
