HP48GX Emulator Windows Problems

I have loaded up the Emu 48 program and included the Rom48. It starts up and shows the calculator faceplate so should work but windows throws up an error and asks whether I would like to send a report. I running on Windows XP home version and maybe this is the problem. Does any one have any advice? Thanks.
