Wife/Spouse quotes... Message #1 Posted by Andy on 28 Jan 2003, 6:01 p.m. Hello everyone, I recently came across a quote by Bill Wickes (PPC v8n5p4): "My long-suffering wife decided that I was crazy, but harmless, as I would disappear "into" the 41C like some latter-day Alice going through her looking glass into a wonderful new world" I've seen several others while reading through the PPC journals/rom manual and finally decided to start compiling them. Please let me know if you have any favorites (include the quote and reference). Andy

(these are bad things?). i replied that with calculators; at least i keep the good ones. my present sweetie, who has been a friend for over 13 years, once said "you're crazy for calculators". i answered "and i'm coo coo for coco puffs coo coo for coco puffs too". she just gave me one of those "i know this makes sense to you" looks. in the 80's i gave a girlfriend a 12c. she used it a lot and learned to program it well. linda called it her "mr. calculator" because she was the only woman in the company who had one. the company gave one to all the men.
