Connectors for 48/49 serial port
Message #1 Posted by Jeffrey_G on 27 Nov 2002, 12:47 p.m.

I would like to make my own serial cable for connecting a PC to either an HP-48 or 49G. Does anybody have the partnumber for either the 5-pin connector for the 48 or the 2x5-pin connector for the 49G?

If you had a DIGI-key partnumber, that would be the best!!

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Maybe you can take a look here:

http://www.hpcalc.org/search.php?query=serial

You can find a lot of information on building your own cable.

Regards, Arnold

You might also find http://pweb.jps.net/~joehorn/cable.htm to be of use (not exactly pinouts, but if you have anything to reuse....
