71b eprom
Message #1 Posted by Andy on 21 Nov 2002, 11:00 a.m.

There's a 64K eprom module for the 71b on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1940557449

I have an eprom burner. Does anyone know anything about this eprom module. Would it be reasonably easy to write programs for it on a PC and burn them into it?

Andy

Dear Andy,
I don't think so.
It's a CMT Eprom module and it needs a special Eprom
Burner, may be an IL one.
With yours you could burn 2764, 27128 or 27256 for HHP 32K
Eprom module (w/ or w/o RAM). You just need two LEX files
ROMCOPY and MKROMLEX) and a BASIC program 'MAKEROM', HP-IL
module and RS232c interface or HP-IL/PC card with Linkplus
software.
Yours. Regards from Normandy.

Do you know if burning eproms is mentioned in the IDS?

Dear Andy,
Are you talking about Internal Design Specifications.
If yes, the answer would be no.
I know how HHP 32K Eprom modules are working.
Yours. Regards from Evreux.
