I will be there. Actually, as I am planning on giving a talk on the 9100, I virtually _have_ to be there :-) Incidentally, It's a 2 day event, 21st _and_ 22nd of September. Most (all?) of the formal talks/presentations are on the 21st, with the 22nd being used for more informal demonstrations, discussions, etc. Or at least that seems to be what's happening at the moment. It might well change if we (HPCC) get offered more talks.

I'll be there, probably for a few days before and a couple of days after as well.

Regards,
James

I'm sorry that I'm going to miss this conference; I'd love to hear Tony's talk on the 9100A, especially. But I'm *very* curious as to why HP is sending a representative from it's Personal Systems Group and asking participants to fill out a questionnaire about their calculator usage in advance. Hasn't HP decided to drop its calculator business?

One minor correction. I am talking (primarily) about the 9100B, not the 9100A. The main reason for this is that I have a 9100B (Which, as you might have guessed I've pulled into rather small pieces :-)) but I've not been lucky enough to find a 9100A yet. Of course much of the talk will apply to both machines, but don't assume everything I say will apply to the -A.

The HP questionnaire asks if you would like to be involved in focus group research for future calculator models. Maybe they have been getting their focus group participants from shopping malls!
