New ebay twist? Make a PDF of manual and sell it?

This is the TI-58/59 Service manual. If I am reading the ad correctly, the seller will deliver the manual as a PDF file or on a CD ROM.

Imagine that...you would never run out of the item being sold.

Unless Texas Instruments has granted the seller a license to make and sell copies, the seller is clearly violating copyright laws. I believe eBay has rules about this....

I've seen a xerox copy being sold on Ebay twice with the very same JPEGs each time. At least once was from Germany. I don't know why this guy is just offering one copy - he should make it a dutch auction with infinite units available! He should state how many megabytes the file is, so a person could decide whether to get the CD.
