Hi (maybe I'm wrong, but... are you in Brazil?)

Opening an HP28 is not something we hear about everyday. The old ones and some new ones are somewhat easier to open. The HP28 itself needs some mysterious procedures. I have one photo showing an opened HP28, but I am not sure it helps. One of the contributors in here have mentioned once his old HP28 was splited inside his son's backpack. I am not sure if he sent me the photos of the opened HP28, I'll check for it. If I find the photos and you want to, I'll send them so you can see where are the locking points.

Best regards.

Take a look at http://www.hpcalc.org/hp48/docs/misc/hp28io.txt

I haven't tried it out yet, but will do in a short time. I have a couple of HP-28S with defectives...

Happy dismantling! Johnny

JONNHY, THAK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE SUGGESTED PAGE INFROMATION,IT WORK PERFECTLY, I STARTED ON THE LEFTH SIDE KEYBOARD, BUT WATH I FIND IS PROBABLY A LOSE OR BROKEN FLAT CABLE WICH CONECTS THE 3RD ROW TO THE CPU. I WILL TRY OPEND THE RIGHT SIDE TODAY LATER, IF I'M SUCCESFULL I WILL LET YOU KNOW, TO PUT IT BACK TOGETER I USE AN HOT SILICON GUN WITH FINE POINT. IT WORK OK.

GRAT SITE. REGARDS
