HP 32sii different versions? Message #1 Posted by Joe Pasquale on 6 Dec 2001, 9:25 p.m. Are there different versions of the HP 32sii in terms of functionality (e.g., ROM updates to fix possible bugs in earlier versions)? Also, were they all made in Indonesia (which is what I have), or were some also made in Singapore and/or USA?

The serial number is 3419S93181 so I think it as been build in may 1994 in Singapore. When I run the autotest (pressing C and 1/x) the display shows COPR.HP 87,90 Is there a ROM version ???? It has the serial number ID12600833 and says it is made in Indonesia. How can I find out the date of manufacture from the serial number? It also shows COPR. HP 87,90. Edwin Russell - UK.

I assume the 87 and 90 refer to the years 1987 and 1990 for the relevent years that the technoligies were copyright.

I just went through the examples of bugs for fractions, and they have all been fixed for my version of the HP-32SII (mine was made in 1995). I wonder when the fixes occurred?
