HP48SX needs repair
Message #1 Posted by John Fahey on 21 May 2001, 5:05 p.m.

I have a HP48SX and some of the keys are not responding and sometimes I get key bounce.

Does anyone know of a repair shop on the West Coast. I am in California. I contacted HP today and they do not support this calculator anymore. Nuts!

Thanks for any help you might have.

You're probably best off buying a used one on ebay or something... 48SX's usually go for under $50. Repair may cost you about that much.

Office Max is now selling 48G+ for $80. No card slot but comes with 128K RAM and has built in eq lib (and about 50% faster). And you will get a NEW calc and not a beat up unit. Otherwise ebay is also a good place and as previous poster said, you will get for even less.
