Add RAM to HP32SII?

I can't get more than one program to fit within the stock memory of my HP32SII - frustrating as heck! Has anyone out there ever added RAM to one of these? Is there a way to do this?

Sorry -- the internals of the HP-32SII don't offer much hope in this regard. There is only one chip, and no obvious expansion capability.

You probably want to find an HP-42S, but they're widely sought, and the prices can be astounding.

Hey! HP! An HP-32SIII (that's "3") with something like 8K RAM would be a nice offering. 400 bytes just ain't enough! (I know the limited labeling capability built into the 32 models would realistically prevent any truly significant memory upgrade.) And it would help satisfy all those crazies out there looking for a new keystroke programmable, 4-level stack RPN machine . . .

Well, they're not exactly cheap, but you can still find an affordable one if you're lucky. I just got recently a mint HP-42S (like new, flush display version) with its large mint manual for just $150, which is far less than the prices people pay on eBay for 11Cs and 15Cs, not to mention rarer machines.

And I agree, this is the way to go if your 32SII feels cramped. The 42S handles similarly to a 32SII, but it's an order of magnitude or two more powerful, and probably the best traditional RPN calculator available at any price.
