MoHPC on CD
Message #1 Posted by Chris Randle (Lincoln, UK) on 17 Oct 2001, 7:18 p.m.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to say this, but...

I've just received my copy of the MoHPC on CD and I'm delighted with it - thank you David Hicks.

If anybody is toying with the idea of buying a set, but not convinced, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Highlights for me include: all the calculator pictures, but half-a-meg in size. The manuals of nearly every HP calculator and peripheral ever made. Scans of old Educalc catalogs (I used to love poring over them and wishing I could afford the goodies therein). Contemporary magazine articles about our favorite calcs. This is just a fraction of the whole.

I too, hope that Mr. Hicks realizes the incredible contribution he has provided: the Museum!

The MoHPC CDs are an INCREDIBLE BARGAIN!

Thank you, Mr. Hicks!

Bruce.

Shortly after posting my thanks to David Hicks, I realised that there is also a huge debt owed to all the volunteers who spent many hours scanning in a great deal of the content. Thanks to you guys, too.

Thanks Chris and Bruce!
