Hello, Carls.

I have a NAVIGATION MODULE, 1B version, that has a 2210 heatprinted in it's botton halfcase. If it is a reference, maybe it will help.

I have lost the Owner's Manual and I had to download a scanned one so I could print it. Anyway, is there any specific information you need?

Be my guest e-mailling me.

Thanks Luiz, The number you're refering to I believe is the serial number, mine has a 2337 (not sure). and it has the word "NAVIGATION" printed with silver letter on it. I was just wondering if there might be differnet version of this modules out there and what the diffence might be. This one I know is for marine navigation (celestial navigation). Are there any other kind of navigation modules available for he HP-41 (for other fields)? How do you know yours is version 1B? Thanks in advance Luiz.

The version shows up in the directory listing when you do a [CAT]-2.

As far as I know, there was only 1 navigation module. Some of the other navigation programs (like for the hp-67/97) can probably be converted.

AFAIK, the heatprint on modules is coded year and week of production. My "Navs" are marked 2209 and 2316. Both show NA1B as ID and 36B as checksum (lower 4k). The upper 4k shows no ID (@@@@) and 115 as checksum.

Hope this helps.

Ciao.....Mike
