An odd tag
Message #1 Posted by Matthew Riehl (U.S.A.) on 10 Nov 2000, 11:39 p.m.

I saw an HP-75 with a tag/plate on the front that says "HP 10833B". It looks like an offical Hewlett Packard metal plate (the HP is the standard HP logo). Anyone know what this means?

Hmmm.... this doesn't seem to make sense.

I thought it might have had a plug-in module on the front, BUT the part number you say it says refers to a HP-IB (IEEE-488) cable, NOT a part that relates to the 75 computer.

Perhaps it is stuck on there by mistake, or to cover a scratch? :-)
