HP 41CV
Message #1 Posted by Vic Belen on 5 Sept 2000, 12:26 p.m.

I just acquired a printer for the HP 41 series calculator and I can print almost anything except that I cannot find a command to list my programs ( have the Basic Manual and Operation In Detail Books). Can one of you who are more familiar with this calculator give me an instruction to list my programs? I cannot find one in the books.

Many thanks.........Vic

There are two commands, prp & list

Execute prp and then at the prompt, enter the program name.

Place the program pointer within the program you wish to print and then to the first instruction you want listed, then execute list . Then enter the number of lines to print.

These commands may need to be entered in upper case.

from my usually faulty memory, you can get a printer to echo keyed instructions and responses in TRACE mode.

if what you want is to list the names of programs stored in the 41, you can switch the printer to trace mode or XEQ TRACE, then run the CAT 1 function.
