HP48 mystery commands
Message #1 Posted by Ed Flower on 2 June 2000, 7:18 a.m.

ON version 'R' of the HP48GX in the STACK menu there are 2 commands not listed in the manuals, they are: KEEP and LEVEL.

From an artical on hpcalc.org I now know what KEEP does. Anyone know what LEVEL does and why these commands are not in the manual?

Hi,

The HP-48GX menu items KEEP & LEVEL appear if you press the up arrow or green shift up arrow to view &/or edit the stack. KEEP deletes all items above the current position of the pointer & LEVEL returns to level one the level to which the the pointer was pointing when LEVEL was pressed. Hope this helps.

KEEP & LEVEL are explained on page 3-8 of the HP 48G Series User's Guide.
