HP 18C Display
Message #1 Posted by Stan G. on 15 Feb 2000, 8:59 p.m.

A friend of mine just gave me an HP 18C (no manual). It checks out fine on the self test, but I can't adjust the display contrast by holding the on key and pressing + or - like I can on my 19B. Can anyone tell me if the 18C's display is adjustable for contrast? Was this one of the features left out to make it less expensive than the 19B?

Thanks

You have to press ON and up or down arrow together.

No, that doesn't work. I tested it on mine. I don't find the manual now, but the same method works on my HP28C and my 28S. Strange...
