Voyager keyboard repair
A few weeks ago, I bought an HP-10C. Cosmetically, the calculator is in poor shape, but electronically, it works fine: it passes the self-tests, I can run programs on it, all the display segments work.

The only problem is the keyboard: some of the keys require extra pressure to register, like ON, f, +, and a few others. Given that there are traces of leakage in the battery compartment, I'm guessing there's gunk inside the keyboard, and that a good cleaning might get it back into good working condition.

Before I open it up, though, does anyone have recommendations for fixing / cleaning Voyager keyboards?

Maybe you can try the wash in water method?

Did it with an 11C.
Avoided to dunk the display into water. Read also somewhere in the old forum to be better to avoid
Good luck
Andi
