Have you contacted Bruce (1)? Another possibility (since dokuwiki sometimes has quirks): just login after the new user screen, and it may nevertheless work.

As far as I remember (I registered in 2013) there should be no confirmation mail.

I see a bit more activity though. Aside from me and webmasterpdx (that recently joined and did a lot of work)

RE: HP 41CL: Flash Database Wiki, Manuals
Is Bruce not reachable?

If you give me you mail and your preferred username, I can try to reach him.

Unfortunately I am "admin" but with very few permission. I can only ban people that make vandalism.

RE: HP 41CL: Flash Database Wiki, Manuals
Hi everyone --

Sorry about any recent troubles with the wiki. I did a fairly major server upgrade a few weeks back, and some of the new authentication changes affected the wiki. Interestingly enough, if you still had a valid login session, then it just ignored the errors and let you continue. Once you logged out, or were a new user coming in, then you were blocked.

The login page should now be working, along with the registration. There MAY still be a problem with the email notifications (it's sending the always-helpful "email sent" followed by an "email not sent" notification...). I'm still looking into that.

[Edit: the email bug should be fixed now too. It works in my testing, but please alert me if anyone has an issue.]

In the meantime, if ANY of you are having ANY kind of problem with the wiki, please reach out to me directly (here or at bruceb at fatcity dot com) and I'll work with you to get it fixed. I believe the wiki is 100% there at the moment (pages can be edited and saved okay, logins work, pages render, etc), so the email may be the last thing that I need to do more work on. [Fixed]

Also, as always, I am happy to do whatever this community needs in terms of support on the wiki, so if you have suggestions, plugins you want added, bulk files uploaded, etc., I welcome your feedback.

Thanks!
Bruce Bergman

RE: HP 41CL: Flash Database Wiki, Manuals
Wow, there were far more folks trying to register in the past seven days, than in the past month. And it figures that this all happened RIGHT after a server upgrade. Ugh. Smile

If you tried to register and your username is in the list below, I'd recommend trying again fresh and you shouldn't have any problems. If you do, please let me know.

Thanks,
Bruce

It worked now - great, I have quite a lot of additions to edit...

Thanks

RE: HP 41CL: Flash Database Wiki, Manuals
I just have tried to update the Flash Database Wiki.

I found the (German) manual for the "Profiset" (Mnemonic PRFS) and wanted to add the link:
Profiset Manual

But obviously it isn't possible to edit the list in place. I don't want to risk any damage and do things like: "download the list, edit it, delete the original, upload the edited version".
Or is there an easier way?

If not, maybe anyone else (with more experience ) might add that piece of information, and maybe some more.

By the way: For older RAM devices which are not capable of bank-switching and which can't handle Library 4, the older versions of Angel's modules like Sandmath II are still of interest. According to the Flash Database, there is no manual for it.
Is that true?
