hp12c and ios 11
today is a sad day for me ?

i updated to ios 11 few days back and now discovered that my beloved hp 12c calc app no longer works.

apparently it is a 32 bit app which is no longer supported by 64 bit ios o/s.

hp has not updated the app to 64 bit.

An update is available at App Store (Version 2.1.2, 64 bit support).

I looked closer at the icon and realised that mine is the hp12c platinum version. When I searched the app store, it says that the developer needs to update it for iOS 11 Sad

The HP-12C and HP-15C apps have already been updated for iOS 11. Hopefully it won’t be long before the new 12CP version is released. Please read the first post in this thread, recently edited by the author:

Yay! Thx so much Gerson. There's hope after all :-)
At my desk, I have a 12C so all's good. But away from my desk, without an RPN calculator, I'm quite lost.

We'll be pushing out ther 12CP test version to the "testflight" system very shortly. Send an email to calcbeta at hp.com if you want to test the 12cp specifically. 12C/15C do not have any testing to go on at the moment.

I cannot find the update, if I search in the App Store, it requires a new purchase. I found my purchase in my account with the download icon greyed out.

It there a limited number of years I can use he app, and then have to repurchase?
