I'm looking forward to testing. Thanks for taking on the project to update the calculator apps.

RE: Public Beta Soon Availiable for Android/iOS: 12C/15C/12CP
Tim,

Just received my TestFlight emails for the 12C and 15C betas. They are both for version 2.1.0 released on June 1st and both expire in 3 hours - at 5:54PM (EDT) today.

Unfortunately the 15C app crashes on both my iPhone 6 and my iPad Air (both running iOS 11 Developer Beta 8). The 12C app appears to run fine. I've submitted feedback on the 15C app via TestFlight.

Regards,
SteveF

And last night received an update to both - and both work fine now.

Are there plans to do an HP-16C emulator? That device is a bit like the holy grail for programmers Smile

Android is so reprehensible, if blackberry had not died and I never had to buy anything or use the net I would not use android.

Why don't you just buy a DM-16L from SwissMicros? I love mine and use it almost daily for work.

Just a note that the 12/15C apps are "done" for the moment and being launched. Should be available before long. The 12CP one will start appearing before too much longer for people already in the test flight.

No need for more people to ask at this point to be added. Thank you all that asked and provided valuable feedback.

I'm certain when it's officially in the iTunes store, there will be a post here. But, what is the name of the 15C app I should be looking for?

Thank you.

Makes me wonder what caused the Symbian OS demise.

Makes me wonder what caused the Symbian OS demise.

Symbian OS was 50 million lines of C++. Too complex to manage. I predicted the death of Symbian on their forums and even got the date right, more or less. Anyway, Nokia had few phones with real keyboards and a lot of Symbian was touch screen support. It was more secure than Android but that doesn't matter.

HP 15C Calculator Version 2.1.2 just released (iOS).

The blinking display bug still remains, however.

Well, from the looks of it and that latest review, perhaps I should wait on this.

RE: Public Beta Soon Availiable for iOS: 12C/15C/12CP
I have always been a big fan of HP scientific calculators and bought the 15C app when I got my first iPhone. It is one of the most expensive apps I have ever bought. Pleased to see the app has finally been updated for iOS 11, but disappointed the App Store won't let me update without buying the app again. I've never had to pay for iOS update before.

RE: Public Beta Soon Availiable for iOS: 12C/15C/12CP
Tim,

15C version 2.2.0 is crashing on iOS 11.2 developer preview 2 on my iPhone 7 but works on my iPad Air. 12C version 2.2.0 is working on both devices.

On the iPhone I see a black screen with the HP logo in the middle and then the app crashes.

Regards,
SteveF
