Restore VC backup to device (no notes)

V2016 08 29 (same version on physical, virtual and CK) I observed something I haven't noticed before. I saved some notes on the VC and made a backup. Then restored that backup onto the physical calc. Everything went across, a number of sheets, some variables and programs, but no notes were transferred.

I went on to make a test note on the physical calc via the CK, saved it, and tried the restore again. This time the test note was deleted, leaving no notes on the restored-to device. Restoring the backup back to the VC brings in the notes as intended and wipes any pre-existing note. I noticed along the way one of my backed up notes "fell off" the list, I need to look at that some more.
