RE: BA II Plus Emulator
Hello sthillr!

I'm not an expert on financial calculators nor their emulators, but you can easily find many hints, mainly in the old forum, e.g. from "fhub" for a calculator very similar to the TI BAII plus:
http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/...ead=244556
and from the same user (post #5) links to emulators for the HP 10bII+ and the HP 12c which are considered by many users superior to TI's product:

RE: BA II Plus Emulator
We had to buy a real TI BAii Plus recently ($34US!) for a college class in business math that my daughter is taking. This was the model recommend by the instructor. It has not changed in feature set since it was introduced in 1991. I'm trying to get her to use my HP-12C but the difference in size between the printed manuals (18 vs 250 pages) is a bit intimidating when looking at them side by sideSmile I'll keep working on it.

I could not find a Windows emulator for the TI BAii Plus that I could download. I believe they have one available for instructors. TI does sell one for Android and IOS ($15US). There is also a free one available for Android.

My instructor also recommended it to the point where all the tutorials are done with.

RE: BA II Plus Emulator
Hi Guys

Thanks for your help! I appreciate it very much! Smile
The reason I came upon your site is because of this post I saw in another forum which pointed me to this one. This is/was the link: http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-682.html . It's dead now but I wondered if that user was still around here who could help me out.

Still wishing they are but I will try the emulators out there for now

Thanks again
sthillr

No, that's the real TI-BAII emulator - I'm using it since a long time.
(the only difference is, that the copy protection (checking for an USB-stick as key) has been removed)

Still wishing they are ...

Well, I don't know what exactly this link was, but I guess it was mine.

The other emulator (ABA10) that I've mentioned anywhere is no longer available, but that's not a big loss, because it has lots of bugs.

Ok, a bit of self promotion here. :-)

If you need help using it, you can always check these:

Gene is famous ? Perhaps not

And, no, I don't get paid anything upon any incremental sale of these books.
