Easiest way for ROM-dumps on the HP-41
To make a backup of all my HP-41 modules I would like to get the "easiest way" to do that.

Layout:

HP-41 with plugged in module in port 1, USB interface to directly copy the complete Port 1 onto the computer and convert it into .mod......

Hardware: Meinderts MLDL, Diegos USB-41 (unfortuantelly Geirs "pc41" does not transfers entier modules), HP41CL (only serial, no USB), PIL-BOX of J.F.

Someone interested in writing the software? I would prefer the USB-41 because of the size and prize.

... and it'll be even easier to share those images with the community like we have always done, right?

Wow! 202 Modules, the best collection of 41 modules that I have seen.
If you do only 1 module a day, then by end of July they will all be done. Wink
Best regards,
Sylvain

But haven't the majority of those already been done? That would make the task less daunting.

Exactly because most are already in the public domain you only need to back up those that aren't, which (surprise, surprise) would be a much more manageable task - and wouldn't take you until July.

That's what I'm thinking, too. I would be glad to have MY modules save as there are some EPROMs that might got damaged by UV (yes, I have new UV stickers on them).
