There's a button at the bottom of each post, saying "Quote". Clicking that should bring up a reply where you can enter your message in to reply to the quoted text.

A bientôt...

You can also use the [Image: postbit_multiquote.gif] button to add multiple quotes even from different threads within the same post. You can then just use the [Image: newreply.gif] button to reply to all of them.

Kind regards
Thomas

RE: Again a question !
As far as I know, all the phpBB forums mostly use the same tags.

Put
and
around a part you want to quote. If you want to put who wrote it, do for example
(and still end the quote with
). These are nestable.

For a section of pre-formated code, put
and
around it, and it will force monospacing and preserve your intensional extra spaces.

To put something in bold, put and around it. To put it in italics, put and around it. For underline, put and around it. To make a link, put at the end of the url, then put the text you want to show for the link, then end it with . To add an image by URL, put around the URL.

For a bulleted list, put
and
around it, and start each list item with
. You can have paragraph breaks within a single list item, before going on to the next list item. For a numbered or lettered list, start with
or
for example. You can also use
...
to indent a whole section, without using
.
...
is nestable too.

There are others, but you get the idea. These are helpful if you want to do something that's not clear how to do with the icons at the top.

And now just only one thing is not clear: how do you inserted these tags without the forum motor is not formatted the text between them?!? Smile

Haha... OK, I can see the quoted text in the editor and this is a really good trick... Smile You simply inserts everywhere ... tag. Clever.
