Checking Device Info
I have a G2 I was trying to see the version or some details about it, so I pressed "SHIFT" then let go and pressed "Apps" (Info) Which I assumed that because the calculator is set to English language, that it would give me the result in English.
It returns a few lines of strange characters, some of which are Eastern characters. Is this what should happen with the latest Firmware, and does anyone else get this same result? |

RE: Checking Device Info
This is what I get:
If I change APP it changes what I see, and most APP's have no text there. I assume then that there is a different way to get the devices OS info. |

Click on Catalogue button, call up Version. Highlight what comes up and press soft button “show” and scroll.

RE: Checking Device Info
It appears that the Info page your brought up with Blue-Shift Apps (Info) may be more of a text page where you can store information like your name, phone number etc. Just press the soft [Edit] key, backspace over or delete the characters that are there and add your own text.

RE: Checking Device Info
Hi, this INFO calls the info text that can be entered in the conkits-page for Apps, not for the device.

To view all the HW & SW versions of Prime:
press the hardware button "Help"; touch the first soft key on the left "Tree"; touch the first submenu "About HP Prime". |

Hello You can also use the 'VERSION' function in the functions catalogue. This returns all the information in the form of a string : VERSION(). You can also use :VERSION(0...5) to have unique information. VERSION(1) returns the firmware number, for example. This can be used in a programme. Sorry for my english |
